Hey all you snowboarding fanatics this blog is for you! I
think snowboarding is not just a sport but a way of life. I would like to
produce pictures and videos of my snowboarding adventures. I also would like
people to share pictures and videos of their snowboarding adventures. If I would have started snowboarding earlier
in my life it would have been my goal to go pro. Unfortunately I didn't start
until I was 26 and already had minor health issues. I try to go snowboarding as
much as I can during the snow season on the West Coast. In fact I'm going up to
Brian Head for the weekend which should be awesome considering the weather up
there right now. As of right now Brian Head has gotten 8" of fresh powder
and is forecast to snow till tomorrow. This means I'm going to be shredding in
some fresh powder this weekend at Brian Head!
I'll be looking for a report on what you experience at Brian Head. I've tried to get up there for the past few years. Is it crowded? What are the wait times for various lifts? How do prices compare with other places you go?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds so exciting!!! The most I do in the snow is sledding, although coming from New York I should have taken advantage of the weather we had, which was a lot of snow. I can't wait to hear about your adventures.
ReplyDeleteJudy, every time I've been up to Brian Head its never been that crowded. The longest I've every waited for the lifts was maybe 10 minutes. The only down side is its about a 3 hour drive and about 200 miles to get up there. The cost for an all day pass is $49.00 compared to other resorts like the one here in Las vegas which is $60.00 for an all day pass on a weekend and $50.00 for weekdays. The snow conditions are usually a lot better up in Utah. So if you don't mind the trip its well worth it!
ReplyDeleteLike you i also love snowboarding and find it amazing how many places someone could go to snowboard. I actually just got back from lake tahoe with family. The snow wasnt to great out there, it didnt snow hard for a while out there.
ReplyDeleteI have not snowboarded in a couple years now. I have been up to Brian Head a couple times and it has always been a blast.
