This blog is for all the people out there who are following
my blog and are thinking about getting into the recreational sport of
snowboarding. One suggestion I have first for all of you that are interested in
starting this sport are to rent all the gear and snowboard at least five times.
Once you’ve realized how much you love snowboarding and want to continue this
sport I suggest you go out and buy the gear needed to making this sport a lot
of fun. I have included a short slideshow of the bear necessities needed to enjoy
this recreational sport of snowboarding. When I first started boarding I bought
all my gear on Ebay for really cheap because most the snowboarders out there
want this year’s gear so they sell off all their old gear. I bought all me gear five years ago for around
$450.00 that included everything; snowboard, bindings, boats, jacket, pants, gloves
and goggles. I hope you enjoyed this blog and maybe I’ll see you on the slopes
sometime!
You snowboard; how does that compare to skateboarding or skiing. Have you ever tried cross country skiing, or cross country running? How does it compare to those sports? As a snowboarder, would you say that snowboarding is tough, grueling, many people have many opinions, some say that cross country running is the most grueling sports in its class. I can only imagine, but whishing down the mountain even with goggles and protective clothing, a person must not only feel the cold air sloshing against their face, but the icy snowflake ice crystals clouting your skin. The thrill of snowboarding it must be rare; your physical movement down the mountain must be like a dare. The exciting feeling of sweeping the snow, with every turn you begin to know. And like a first timer who is ready to go, reeling the snow you must be always ready to show.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't seem expensive at all just to go ahead and buy used equipment like the board and bindings. i've been thinking about trying it next winter for sure.
